- MMaxwellLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWilliam Stevenson was our waiter—honestly, he made the whole experience so much better. He’s one of those people who’s just naturally good at what they do. Super warm, easy to talk to, and you could tell he actually cared about making sure we had a great time. He gave thoughtful recommendations without feeling pushy and checked in at just the right times. It felt more like being hosted by a friend than just “getting served.” If you’re lucky enough to have William taking care of you, you’re in for a good night. The food was great! Sides were pretty good and the fried/ crispy fish was incredible with the coconut like flavor. Tasted like some food I had in the Bahamas, which is a W for CastawayMore infoCastaway - BurbankPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Burbank•4.6

- PPatriciavipLos Angeles •16 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 4, 2024The food was quite tasty. We asked to sit upstairs which was very nice, but then a large party with young children in sports uniforms sat at a long table next to us and it became very noisy. Not sure if their blue cheese dressing is different than most, but I asked for it on the side and it looked like a Ranch dressing. I asked if I could exchange it for Blue cheese, but what they brought looked and tasted more like Ranch than Blue cheese. So not sure if their Blue cheese dressing is more like a Ranch dressing... But my hard chicken taco and beef tamale was delicious!More infoJoselito's Mexican Food (Montrose)Price: Moderate• Mexican• Glendale•4.5

Discover Montrose
Montrose may be in the United States, but you'll find no shortage of Japanese dining options in this Los Angeles suburb. Sushi bars are a popular way to enjoy this Asian cuisine. Other ethnic styles available in Montrose include Spanish, Mediterranean and French cooking. Mixed in with this around-the-globe diversity, there are also plenty of American-style restaurants, including the trendy gastropub concept. Sure, the idea for gastropubs might hail from England , but the food served in Montrose's take on the idea is decidedly American. Don't forget to check out Montrose's morning dining scene as well! Go big at a restaurant with a brunch menu, or keep it lighter with a pastry and a cup of coffee from one of the many cozy cafes.
