Sauces for beef and veal dishes were terrific; apps and desserts were equally impressive. A memorable experience we are eager to repeat. - NNikkiSacramento / Sacramento Valley •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOutstanding !!!!! We had Spanish octopus, soup and salad, osso bucco, duck and ended with olive oil cake w/ a blueberry compote. The octopus was perfectly charred with a tangy sauce and crunchy potatoes. Perfect for first course! The soup and salad were delightful and a pleasant surprise- it was cabbage with a sweet vinegar, the soup had huge mushrooms with barley. The Duck was a tiny bit dry but still delicious. The skin was crunchy and they had a small gravy boat of the best sauce to go with, the sides with it paired perfectly. The Osso Bucco was incredibly tender, pulled apart by only a fork dipped in the fluffiest mashed potatoes!!! Great sauce as well. The olive oil cake was moist with the perfect bite every time. I highly recommend this gem. Kat, our server was so kind and gave great recommendations along with extra sauce since we had to take some food to go! They have huge portion sizes.More infoMiro's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Palm Springs•4.9

- SSandraSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe totally enjoyed the ambience of the covered patio with its beautiful table linens and dishes with a wonderful view of the fountain and the magical lights below. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food was a magnificent representation of Tuscany. We all tried different items, and I especially loved my veal marsala with Angel hair pasta. My grandson thoroughly loved his mushroom ravioli, and other members of the party had spaghetti Bolognese and perfectly cooked salmon. Dessert was also great, with crème brûlée, cannoli, and tiramisu. A beautiful gem of a restaurant! perfectlyMore infoSammy G's Tuscan GrillPrice: Moderate• Italian• Palm Springs•4.7

Discover Palm Springs
As the desert retreat of the Rat Pack, retired presidents and five-star generals, Palm Springs retains the cool midcentury charm that drew yesterday's celebrities to play tennis, golf and swim. You might still spot a celebrity today eating lavender-flavored pound cake with basil ice cream on the patio of a former Hollywood star's estate. Great seafood is unexpected in the middle of the desert, but Palm Springs offers several excellent raw bars and fresh fish restaurants. Traditional Italian diners are another desert surprise, and you'll also find some wonderful pizza parlors in the area. Palm Springs is a place of hidden oases and patios, which conceal fresh, farm-to-table California food served by chef-inspired kitchens.
