- FFredSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe came for the 3-course Apero dinner. We added the marrow bone, which was amazing! My only complaint was that the stroganoff was too salty. The flavors were great, otherwise.More infoThe Black Sheep SB BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Santa Barbara•4.8

- JJohnnyVIPCalifornia Central Coast •77 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGreat experience at Intermezzo. Staff was very accommodating over a few dietary restrictions and the food was delicious. Shrimp pasta was excellent as was the Filet Mignon with pepper cream sauce. We will be back again. - LLeeCalifornia Central Coast •10 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024The food here is delicious, definitely different from and a cut above traditional Indian restaurants in America. The service was also very attentive. I really appreciate the number of vegan dishes and the fact that everything is clearly marked. My two caveats are that there’s a lot of heat in this food so if you can’t stand that this is not the restaurant for you. Even the mild chutney was hot rather than flavorful. It’s also a noisy set up with little thought given to sound management in the design of the space. The pink themed walls are kind of cute but also slightly nauseating. Discover Santa Barbara
Only a two-hour jaunt from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara is a busy seaside town with a relaxed vibe and proximity to California's booming wine region. Sometimes called the American Riviera, Santa Barbara exudes alfresco charm while benefiting from local, fresh produce and sustainably harvested seafood. From the taco trail to cracked fresh crab at the pier to eclectic wine bars with delicate snacks, Santa Barbara is a culinary delight for a range of tastes. One thing you won't find much of is pretentious, black-tie dining; Santa Barbara prefers it low-profile. Fresh and local is the name of the game here. Copious nearby ranch land, wine country and independent distillers and breweries keep chefs inspired to design their menus with a distinctly local bent.
