- MMelissavipChicago / Illinois •16 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe are LONG time fans of the Little Goat Diner when it was on Randolph. I love the new space but disappointed with the food. Some of the staples are gone (Los Drowned pot roast au jus ) and other things aren’t as high quality. We had the Kale salad (and thankfully it was mostly unchanged) but the chicken added was minimal. We then ordered the sloppy chicken Sammie and it was super salty - and had the same Cole slaw as the salad. We want the old food back. - SSeanvipChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe’ve been hesitant to visit the Walnut Room due to food allergies but decided to give it a try. From the moment we sat down, Jesus, our waiter, was so attentive. He noticed our allergen card in the table and immediately addressed it, letting us know he find out anything we needed to know and would talk to the chef personally to see what our son could eat. We’ve always wanted to visit this beautiful restaurant but never did out of fear of allergies. But Jesus helped to make this experience amazing for our whole family. Thank you for taking the time to understand our allergies and walk us through the menu. It was a great start to the holiday season.
