SA COVA- Old Town -Ibiza

The bistro is located behind the old market, and the terrace is overlooking the old town of Ibiza.
Chef Francisco Guzmán offers a short menu that adapts to the market and the season. He handles the most avant-garde techniques with the traditional ones, you can find the classics of the French tradition, with influences from South America, joining with the Mediterranean aromas that the island offers.
The restaurant focus on the elaborated wine-list the offer beautiful wines from different regions of Spain, European and Local.
Inside you’ll need to discover the indoor Bar and Open-Kitchen built-in a typical Ibiza natural cave.
The Sa Cova Team as worked worldwide, a well as in Michelin stars restaurants from Paris to New-York.
You can expect in Sa Cova to enjoy a tasteful bistronomic feeling, from the table service to the plate.
Only open for the dinner service Sa Cova welcome you every-night of the season. (From April to October).

Day and night, UP offers craft cocktails + bright flavors poolside, with spectacular views of Dalt Vila and Old Town.
UP is pure, dreamy Ibiza. Our rooftop bar and restaurant surrounds guests with Old Town’s most picturesque views. Savor elevated Japanese-Mexican flavors and sip exquisite cocktails, poolside. The world-famous Pikes Hotel is nestled in the hills just outside San Antonio in Ibiza, with stunning views of the valley all the way down to the bay. Established in the early 80’s, it is the home of legendary Queen front man Freddie Mercury’s 41st birthday party and the backdrop for George Michael’s 'Club Tropicana' video. Today Pikes Restaurant serves Modern British cuisine with a twist. Head Chef Lee Milne & his team provide a delicious fresh daytime menu with healthy salads, The Club Tropicana Sandwich, the mouthwatering Burger even an ‘All Day Full English’ for the late risers.
Our A La Carte Menu is served from Monday to Saturday & offers delicious food that favours local, seasonal produce with a good choice of dishes including vegetarian options. Keep an eye out for our very special culinary evenings.

The food was great, the place is gorgeous. However, I do think the place needs time to improve. The location is not yet on the same level as the other properties in the Standard chain. For instance, the service was quite confused, could not recommend a red wine glass according to what I asked or what I ordered. The location was empty at 8pm, a few people were at the Bar and two waiters were talking with people they seem to be friends with while we were hoping to order something else and were trying to make eye contact with one of them. Yet, the potentiel is here since the food was good and the service very polite and smily.
