The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. A huge thank you to our waitress, Jaqueline, who was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and truly made our night special. The food was outstanding, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish was a delight! From start to finish, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Dublin.More infoChequer Lane by Jamie OliverPrice: Expensive• Irish• South William Street•4.6

The service is incredible, the staff are fun - not in your face but somehow always near to ask if you need another cocktail & plenty of great recs. Treat yourself to a couple of cocktails - the Stormy D’s & The Abocado One were my faves, they’re so worth it. We got the tasting menu & it was incredible start to finish. The notorious focaccia bread is as fabulous as people rate it & the carbonara butter is melt-in-mouth amazing, creamiest saltiness with the tang of Parmesan, if I was home alone, I would have licked the butter plate clean. The nduja & leek croquettes were a crowd pleaser, perfect balance of soft/crunch & nice moreish taste. Next up the mussels - so refreshing, the vinegary broth with the taste of the sea is a perfect balance. It was exactly the dish needed in-between. Pastas - both delicious, both made me feel like I was on Stanley Tuccis Italian show & forgot that I was actually in a restaurant - 10/10 for both The steak, the garlic roasties & salad were fabulous. Was I extremely full at this point? Yes. Was I still enjoying every morsel popped into my fob? Bigger Yes To end the fabulous meal, we were served the Irish coffee dessert which if you are a fan of Carte Noir biscuits that your mum brought out to the fancy guests in the house, this is up your street. The sweet chewy biscuit paired with the coffee ice cream is exactly the dessert you want to end on & the chocolate gravel that surrounded was just heavenly I’ll be looking forward to the next time I’m back & trying all the other bits on the menu - hats off to the team in KickysMore infoKicky'sPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• South City Centre•4.7
