12 stellar special-occasion restaurants in New Orleans

4 Must-Book Restaurants in New Orleans
New Orleans’s restaurants are the beating heart of this festive city, and to say they’ve had a tough few years would be putting it mildly. Discover Northshore
Many of the restaurants in the Northshore region of New Orleans are what you might call "no frills." Here, it's all about good food and good times. The lack of bells and whistles doesn't mean a lack of choices, though. Whether you're in the mood for classic comfort dishes, fresh seafood, Louisiana Cajun, or something else entirely, you're sure to find it here. Grab some beignets for breakfast before you head out on your day. Does a po'boy sound interesting? Try one for lunch. For dinner, it's time for some gumbo or jambalaya. Is it Monday? That means red beans and rice, of course.
