All four of us at my table enjoyed our meals which were served promptly, even on a night when the Tavern was packed. I'd especially like to call-out Lori for taking such good care of us. The hostess was very apologetic when they could not seat us right away as a previous table was not leaving. We ended up having to wait for our table for 35 minutes. In the mean time we got a drink at the bar. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff to the sommelier was very apologetic but we didn't mind. Everyone more than made up for our wait with complementary appetizer and a drink. Our birthday celebration was great and all of the food and drink was phenomenal. The sommelier Scott spent extra time with us when we had questions about the wine and was very kind and informative! There are a few South American touches on the menu thanks to Bolivian ownership including Bolivian and Peruvian empanadas -- a fine first course. Good wine list and well-made martinis.
