The food and service were great, but there was a severe parking problem. To be honest, there was no available parking slots around the restaurant. I’m not sure what they could’ve done to alleviate the problem? The only other issue was, it was difficult to understand the chef, there appeared to be a slight language problem. Overall, I was very satisfied and enjoyed the evening.More infoBenihana - Farmington Hills, MIPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Farmington Hills•4

- DDanielToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a great dinning experience! Highly recommended if you want to have a nice intimate date night. Service was great as there is complimentary valet service (tip optional) and the staff were so friendly upon entering the restaurant. The decor and ambiance are stunning and has a nice modern art touch. Our waiter was amazing and so friendly. The drinks there were delicious and the food was authentic. After eating the food, we did not feel a “food hangover” and felt amazing after suggesting that the food is cooked with the best and freshest ingredients. The pastas noodles are made fresh as well so that is a huge bonus!More infoAurora ItalianaPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Bloomfield•4.7
- SScottVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy college roommate form early 80's and I started reviewing restaurants in the Metro Detroit Area 4 years ago. We have hit 80% of all the top restaurants (over 120) and we both consider Café' Cortina in our top 2-3 restaurants. I am not sure that I would take children under 14 there, only because of the complexity of the menu/food, and it seems like most of the servers have strong accents that are not always easy to understand. With that said I love going there about every 4-5 weeks and trying something different each time. Last night I had lamb chops. They may have been the best I have ever had. I savored every bite. I have had lamb chops at many nice restaurants. There pasta's are all made in house and are always exciting to try a different one. Make sure you save room for desert, as their pastry chef makes some very unique and tasty treats. This is probably one of the least known restaurants in Metro Detroit, a hidden gem for sure.More infoCafé CortinaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Farmington Hills•4.8

Discover Farmington Hills
Farmington Hills is an affluent community in Oakland County and a suburb of Detroit. Well-known for its beautifully maintained country clubs, it is also home to many chic coffee houses and tea rooms. Sunday brunch is one of the most popular times to go out, and you'll find lines out the door waiting to sample the omelet bars, fresh fruit, and pastries. You'll find a variety of upscale restaurants here, including Italian and Mexican fare. A growing Latin American population has spurred a rapid growth of family-owned and operated casual diners with specialties such as pozole, tacos al pastor, and huevos rancheros. The community also has a growing population from India that has brought with it buffet-style restaurants with offerings such as curried chicken and tamarind-flavored dishes.
