- CClaireLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024We loved our time here. The cocktail menu is new and exciting and the staff extremely knowledgeable. Trust their recommendations, our favourite drinks were those recommended. The flavours are complex and surprising and extremely tasty. The food was excellent and the ambience perfect. It was civilised, comfortable and the music at just the right volume for a good conversation. We’ll be back next time we’re in Amsterdam.More infoPrins & AapPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Oosterdokseiland•4.6

- PAPAULvipLos Angeles •27 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 9, 2022Cote de Bouef for two was chewy and gristly. Wouldn’t order again. Apple crumble dessert was disappointing and not what we expected as it was more of a pudding with crumbs on top than a “crumble.”. Food menu is too limited. Service and wine choices were excellent. Location is beautiful and the hotel is charming. Will try again as have eaten there twice before on other visits to Amsterdam and loved it.More infoBrasserie AmbassadePrice: Expensive• French• Grachtengordel•4.7

Discover Jordaan
Once a working class hub, this area in the Centrum district is now one of the most upscale, exclusive sections of town. Home to renowned art galleries, particularly modern art, as well as speciality shops and restaurants, make this neighborhood one of the most popular (and funky) destinations in the city. The local eateries are similarly electric, with highlights that include Moroccan fare, traditional Dutch dishes and modern French cuisine, to name a few. After checking out Rembrandt’s grave or the Anne Frank House, which is located on the edge of the neighborhood, be sure to check out the markets held regularly at Noordermarkt, the Westerstraat and Lindengracht.
