We chose a Thursday night because we had to come to Peoria for a medical appointment. There were several groups of mostly men in the back room where we sat. - JJenniferVIPGrand Rapids / Western Michigan •16 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 19, 2024We sincerely enjoyed our dinner at the MidwayDuckInn! The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. Our server went the extra mile to make sure our date night was fun and tasty. We enjoyed our drinks and were happy to see the adaptogen options for those of us who do not drink alcohol. We loved the fritters in both the pumpkin and regular corn flavors. Even took some home as they were beyond delicious. Lake Superior Whitefish was so tasty. Had mashed potatoes and carrots too. So yummy! My husband tried the fried chicken and it was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!More infoMidway Duck InnPrice: Moderate• American• Peoria City•4.8

Discover Mackinaw
Mackinaw is a typical small town in Central Illinois that is home to several quaint privately-owned family style restaurants serving great American food. Among the favorite places in town are the various pubs serving unique sandwiches and entrees from their in-house menus, including pizza made from scratch. Burgers are big in this small town as quick comfort food tends to be the most common of available choices. But, there are also excellent options for health conscious diners who are looking for a balanced meal without the focus on the primary meat entree and gluten based dishes. Selections are limited, but the quality is not. That is especially true for those looking for a good steak from the local roadhouse.
