- BBarbaraIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Cascade . Our DIL Kaew too. Our table of 3 was offered complimentary glasses of champagne which we gladly accepted. Our order was placed (Bruce was our server ) and soon we were dining on Filet , black cod and chicken as entries and mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts as sides . Everything was superb. We like to dine by the front window to view the green lit waters of the St Joe River. Crème Brule and an after dinner coffee finished the meal. Our overall experience was wonderful. Food, service and atmosphere is unmatched anywhere in northern Indiana .More infoCascadePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• South Bend•4.8

Mishawaka is named after Princess Mishawaka, the daughter of Shawnee Chief Elkhart. Nestled along the banks of the St. Joseph River, the neighborhood boasts a rich history, and its culinary offerings are just as rich. Within a few blocks, you'll find ocean fresh Japanese fusion, tender steaks and pork chops served amid Tiffany lamps and antique stained glass windows. Even the local chain eateries feel like a home away from home, and American drive-thru restaurants make appearances at local county fairs with sirloin tip sandwiches, mashed potatoes and green beans that can compete with the best. A wonderful way to relax after a satisfying meal in Mishawaka is to stroll along the popular Riverwalk.
