- JJeanneMiami - Dade •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe are were in town for king of the bluegrass basketball tournament in Fairdale. The appetizer we had the tuna poke (10/10) We got a bottle of Treana Cab wine to have with our main course… My husband had the medallion filets and I had the 7 oz filet (med rare) We got cheesy potatoes and asparagus for sides to share. The portion sides are generous! Wow!!!!!! Everything was phenomenal .. and don’t even get me started on the bread with the beef mallow and garlic butter candle ….. Unreal! The service was top notch! We had reservations, and were greeted with smiles and quickly seated. Our table was cleaned and ready for each step of our experience. The atmosphere was warm, eclectic and welcoming. There was someone with his sax playing soft jazz Christmas music as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be coming back (even though it’s a 2.5 hour drive) I MUST try the Lobster Bisque next time! We love good food and exceptional service ! Thank you for the experience!More infoSteak & Bourbon - Westport VillagePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Westport Rd - Lyndon•4.8
- Vvicki shermanCentral Kentucky •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a wonderful evening at the Capital Grille tonight celebrating a very special 80th birthday. They had decorated the table with birthday related confetti and had placed a birthday card on the table. My friend was treated to a free drink and delicious dessert. The service is impeccable. Sabrina was our server and I will ask for her every time I go. The food was five stars. I had salmon which was cooked perfectly and spiced well with a delicious honey glaze served with almonds and green beans. I ordered the asparagus which was yummy and had several bites of mashed potatoes which were divine - maybe the best I’ve ever had. My husband had lamb chops. They give you eight of these and he enjoyed every morsel. To start, he ordered onion soup which I tasted. It was absolutely delicious but the serving is huge, really too much to eat before a main course. I highly recommend going to the Capital Grille. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.More infoThe Capital Grille - LouisvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Westport Rd - Lyndon•4.8

- JBJimBrownCentral Kentucky •6 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 19, 2017Charr'd really is a hidden gem. Any seasoned traveller knows most hotel eateries are overpriced and underperform when it comes to food and service. Not only is the hotel lovely and the bar area quite with lot's of comfortable seating and excellent drinks, the restaurant is cozy and the food is great and reasonably priced with a very creative menu. Service is always great. We eat there often both as a couple and with friends and always have an enjoyable time. I highly recommend Charr'd. Discover Jeffersontown
Jeffersontown is one of the largest and most historic of Louisville's suburbs, and it fully participates in Louisville's recent restaurant boom and traditional food culture. Iconic to J-town and the whole region is a taste of local bourbon and the Western-style barbecue grills and steak houses. There are many down-home, laid-back cafes and restaurants where you will discover Southern "comfort food" worthy of the name. The variety of the food scene in this small, central Kentucky town is impressive. You will find everything from high-class cuisine to authentic New Orleans Cajun to "greasy-spoon" burgers and fries. There is a particular abundance of Italian and pizza places, authentic Mexican restaurants, and Japanese steakhouses and sushi bars. Overall, the Jeffersontown ambiance is slow-paced, friendly, and as charming as you'd expect from Southern hospitality.
