I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joy Asian Cuisine in Indio, California, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located within the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that seamlessly blends traditional and modern East Asian flavors, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and promptly seated in the elegant dining area. The ambiance was inviting, with tasteful décor that set the stage for a delightful meal. My server, Fely, was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring a memorable dining experience. To start, I ordered the Joy Share Plate, a sampler featuring barbecued pork spare ribs, vegetable spring rolls, beef satays, and pork potstickers. Each item was expertly prepared, offering a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that showcased the culinary team’s skill. For the main course, I chose the General Tso’s Chicken and the Wok-Fried Rice with Shrimp. The General Tso’s Chicken was a standout—crispy pieces of tender chicken coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and spicy sauce. The Wok-Fried Rice was equally impressive, with plump, juicy shrimp and a medley of fresh vegetables, all infused with a delightful smoky flavor from the wok. Throughout the meal, Fely provided impeccable service, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly demeanor added a personal touch that elevated the evening. In conclusion, Joy Asian Cuisine offers a top-notch dining experience with its diverse menu, exceptional food quality, and outstanding service. The sunset supper is so perfect for a special event or a lovely meal out. The food is exceptional and well presented. Not a huge serving but just the right size for an early meal. Wednesday 1/2price bottles of wine is the icing on the cake !!! Service is so well done. We didn’t feel rushed and completely enjoyed our meal and had an amazing ice cream wedge cake dessert to share. Always a highlight while we ate in the desert. Best dining in years. So happy we chose The Bistro to celebrate our 51 years anniversary. Everyone and everything was 5 star including the chef. We felt cared about and honored and the food and dessert was unique and delicious. Thank you to everyone there for the hospitality and life long memories. We will be there again.

Always a fabulous dining experience...the staff is so well trained and very attentive. The 12th Floor Lounge is the best in the valley with great music on the weekends!

Our neighbors had heard of Italica and we all wanted to try it. Reservations were easy online and finding it was no problem, even with no signage. Service was impeccable and food was delicious! The wine we ordered was not available, so the waiter asked if they could substitute a similar one. That was fine, but the price was significantly higher when the bill came. I would highly recommend going to Italica for outstanding Italian cuisine!
