- WWendieVIPWashington, D.C. Area •105 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent for the 4 course Christmas Lunch based on the menu posted online (lots of seafood). We were happy that we landed on The Pembroke! Started with cocktails from the holiday menu - a mescal & a bourbon drink. Yummy. Raw & charcuterie bar was next. The stone crabs were a bit hard to manage because we didn't have crackers or lobster forks, but we made it work. Appetizers consisted of seared scallop (minus bacon) & lobster bisque, both of which were done to perfection. Entree was turbot, which was also cooked to perfection & the accompanying clams were the highlight for me. Dessert was ok, but the weakness of the meal - I had sorbet & my friend had Mont Blanc, which was definitely different than the usual format. I did like the addition of coffee ice cream on it - definitely the highlight of the dessert. Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Our server, Daniel, was extra attentive, but everyone chipped in to assist. Would definitely go back for a special occasion! Thank you for making Christmas a unique experience!More infoThe PembrokePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.5

- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe restaurant, bar and lounge areas spread out across multiple rooms / terraces / levels so it is a really intimate and fun layout. Excellent service and value. Price for classic drinks skewed a tad high in my opinion. I'll try and catch a happy hour sometime and the jazz performances.More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7

The location (only a few feet from a public parking garage) also commends it.More infoCopper Canyon Grill - Silver SpringPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Silver Spring•4.5

My sister and I ordered the Vanilla French Toast and we both loved them an almost finished eating them. She did order some bacon and it was cooked perfectly too. Our brother ordered the Breakfast Club Sandwich and he loved his meal too! It was a great day at the Breakfast Club! We will definitely go back to eat!More infoThe Breakfast ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Silver Spring•4.2
