- LLindaVIPRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were celebrating my birthday. We are eligible for the senior menu offered until 6:00. The course offerings were diverse. I started with a Caesar salad, went on to a perfectly cooked filet mignon. It was served on a cast iron plate. That kept the steak appealing warm. My husband had a filet, too. He had buttery whipped potatoes. It was enough to share. He lived them. I found them a bit over peppered but pepper is not my favorite seasoning. The bread pudding dessert was large and scrumptious! Warm, with the largest pillows marshmallow I have ever seen! Kudos to Gabby, our server. The noise level in main dining area became loud as it filled up. We were in a side room which was quieter. Overall, a lovely experienceMore infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille - RaleighPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Raleigh•4.6

Food was good, rice congee, chicken lomein, crab ragoon and bbq bao, cocktails on point, chocolate turtle cake. An excellent overall experience. A little pricey but you are not just paying for food but for service and atmosphere. Great place for date night or a celebration not a simple weeknight family meal kind of place.More infoBrewery BhavanaPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Raleigh•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOur first visit to this restaurant and we will be back! We celebrated a birthday and were overwhelmed with the special touches the staff put into our visit without any request from us! Custom menus, birthday Prosecco for the table and a custom card signed by staff - even a custom glass for the birthday girl! It was an incredible evening and we could not have been happier with our restaurant choice! Our friends dining with us were also in awe of the efforts to make the night special. The food was amazing - we tried 4 appetizers and a variety of rolls with the black magic roll as the favorite. Thank you to everyone who made the night special for us - it will never be forgotten for our family and our guests!More infoO-Ku - RaleighPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Raleigh•4.9
- MMeredithAsheville / Western North Carolina •16 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI took my real estate team to lunch here for our annual holiday get together. The setting is GORGEOUS!!! When you dine here you feel like you're on vacation at a resort. Our server Darrell was just wonderful--attentive, kind and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious! The wine by the bottle prices are a bit high....but I do not believe any higher than other competing restaurants. It would be icing on the cake if they had valet parking. I'm sure we will be back for another dining experience!!More infoRH Rooftop Restaurant RaleighPrice: Very Expensive• American• Raleigh•4.6

Discussions about barbecue in North Carolina usually end in fistfights. If you ask someone from the western part of the state, smoked pork shoulder is the way to go. Head east, and nothing will do but to slow cook the whole hog. Either way, chopped pork, barbecue sauce, a ladle of coleslaw and a dash of Texas Pete make an iconic sandwich. The squishier the bun is, the better. Even if your tastes run to fried chicken, sautéed mountain trout or pimiento cheese melted over fried green tomatoes, you won’t go hungry in Raleigh. Have you ever had boiled peanuts? Reserve your opinion until you’ve tasted this roadside-stand treat. Local chefs are creating delicious new dishes around this humble ingredient.
