- GGinavipAustin •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe’re thrilled to have this beautiful restaurant nearby!! Not only does it perfectly capture the Hill Country charm with a warm, welcoming staff, a spacious open patio with huge stone fireplaces and an inviting, tastefully decorated dining area, but the menu and “whiskey bible” are truly excellent. The variety of steaks and Gulf Coast seafood put a fine flair on comfort food! We definitely will return soon!!More infoWhiskey RidgePrice: Expensive• American• Driftwood•4.7

- BBradChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!More infoAba - AustinPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• East Austin•4.8

Discover Driftwood
Local wines abound to complement everything from the tangy barbecue to the handmade pasta you will find in Driftwood. Let’s talk barbecue! Selections range from beef brisket to turkey with Texas-style flavors of cumin, chili and cayenne peppers. Finish with homemade chocolate pecan pie. It may be Texas, but it tastes like Tuscany biting into creamy pasta riddled with cheeses. Are you in the mood for fresh? Dine on grilled asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes and basil on a garden patio. If you’re looking for something country, have a seat at a picnic table under a mesquite tree and enjoy a plate of classic American fare. From the snap of a turkey club to the comfort of a chicken-fried steak, there is something for everyone.
