Have been there for meals before and never been disappointed. The monkfish in particular was delicious and perfectly cooked: my son who rarely gives praise said his burger was the best he had ever tasted and my husband had the lamb which was outstanding. It`s a bit noisy now and again particularly when there is a family occasion but just find a table a little away from them as the lounge bar is a large area. If you are of a certain age they provide a Seniors menu , slightly smaller portions but for the price you pay excellent value.I must give a mention of the staff who are excellent NOTHING is to much trouble for them and they are always friendly and helpful even when they are very busy.More infoHawthorn InnPrice: Moderate• Pub• Pontypridd•5
