- MMelissaVirginia •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur family in Harrisonburg has raved about the Local Chop & Grill House for years and we finally got to learn why. What a lovely place for a special Christmas meal and what incredible food. Everyone had ribeyes and all were almost fork tender and perfectly cooked to our requested medium rare. The trio of roasted mushrooms were a tasty addition to my steak. The chevre mac 'n cheese was luscious, as were the duck fries. Several diners relished seasonal cocktails and we all loved the salted caramel creme brulee. We were tucked in a cozy alcove and our meal was not hurried. Our server was very good though a local missed the personal touches offered by previous staff. This is a wonderful restaurant for a special meal and I will happily return.More infoLocal Chop & Grill HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harrisonburg•4.7

The special was ravioli stuffed with shortrib and shitake mushrooms. Compliments to the chef for preparing a great dinner. The guesthouse hosted a cabaret “songs on broadway” that included 4 talented amazing performers. It was a fun night that got one into the holiday mood. Oh, the guesthouse is decked out with holiday ornaments.More infoGuesthouse Lost RiverPrice: Expensive• American• Lost River•4.9
