Nonna Silvia's is a popular neighborhood restaurant nestled between Park Ridge and Edison Park. Family owned for 22 years, Chefs Steve Marti & John Giannini have been cooking authentic, regional Italian cuisine (from central Italy) since opening the restaurant. Inspired by and named after their grandmother, Silvia Giannini, Nonna Silvia's offers homemade pastas, fresh seafood, specialty pizzas, and a choice selection of local, Midwestern meats. We feature a collection of more than 60 wines (many of our wines are award-winning, Wine Spectator rated) from all over the world as well as craft beer and signature cocktails. Food & waitstaff were excellent. The only drawback was the noise. Once the room filled up, we had to yell to hear each other.

Absolutely wonderful experience once again at Nonna Silvias last night. We started with an appetizer of fried calamari they were outstanding. I had my old favorite of pumpkin ravioli. It certainly did not disappoint. My husband had a special which was black, squid ink pasta with calamari in oil garlic sauce. It was outstanding we had the apple bread pudding for dessert with caramel gelato. It was wonderful.

Had a lovely birthday dinner for my husband last night. Everyone LOVED their food! I am always worried about our vegetarian family member but she found a shepherd’s purse pasta filled with chanterelle mushrooms much to her liking! There were at least 3 other good vegan or vegetarian options for her to choose, more than many eateries! I chose Nonna’s because I know they have great food at good prices and its location close to the Kennedy exway makes getting to an after work celebration easier for our family. It was quite loud and we hadto shout to be heard. That is my only real complaint.

Nonna Silvia's has turned into our go to. The food, the service...always great. Love their regular menu, something on there for everyone but I also enjoy the specials they come up with. Angela's homemade desserts are absolutely delicious & a great way to end a delicious dinner.
