   Front of house and servers all were excellent, accommodating, and attentive-especially Christina. Bar drinks very good. Sushi and appetizers were outstanding. Your famous cake was spectacular and we so appreciated the birthday treat. Lots of competition in Beverly Hills, but this was our favorite meal from similarly themed restaurants. My only criticism- why not serve a bone-in ribeye? My favorite! We will be back. Thank you.

   The steaks were steaks that I would have if I was eating at a sizzler not a well-known steakhouse like oceanfront very disappointing

    I’d describe Ocean Prime as an upscale airport restaurant—polished but lacking warmth and character. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, despite having a 7 PM reservation, we were asked to wait and ended up waiting 17 minutes to be seated. Not the best first impression. When we ordered bottled water, we were given house water that tasted like chlorine—odd for a restaurant of this caliber. They informed us they don’t serve external brands. After some back and forth, our server managed to find a bottle of Fiji somewhere. We ordered a Caymus Cabernet along with Caesar and house salads—both disappointing. The greens were mushy, overdressed, and just overall messy. The filet mignon was decent with a nice buttery taste, but when the food arrived, they didn’t know which steak was medium and which was medium rare—a small but noticeable oversight. Beyond the food, the ambiance had some odd quirks. There was a constant banging noise, reminiscent of someone dropping weights at a gym or something happening in a nearby parking lot—annoying and disruptive. Seating was also uncomfortable; the booth was angled at an awkward 90 degrees, making it unpleasant for a long dinner, and the table height felt off, almost at armpit level. The music didn’t match the restaurant’s vibe, adding to the lack of cohesion in the atmosphere. The only real highlight was the friendly doorman, who had great energy and was welcoming. I initially tried this place due to an InKind recommendation, but with so many great options in LA, I wouldn’t return.
