   Salad bar made a great comeback from the bleak COVID years, when the bar had to be eliminated. The filet mignon was the best I’ve ever tasted. At medium well it was perfect for me. I usually order medium, but I really don’t like much pink. The real test was the lobster. In the past (we have been going every year since 1998) we have been given small lobster. They were so small that the waitress brought us a second tail. We have also had lobster taills that were mushy, in consistency, and obviously soaked in brine (dead before they were cooked) that they were too salty to eat. This year, however, the lobsters were big, juicy, and firm, but not tough or stringy. We had a perfect table! We could see the fireworks from Anaheim Stadium, Disneyland, and Knotts Berry Farm. We had a enjoyable, comfortable New Years Eve. A fantastic experience for $183.00 (including tip). Also, they have eliminated the parking valet, so that you don’t have to wait for your car in the freezing rain, or pay the valet $14.00.

   The food was delicious. We had a really good server who was attentive even though it was very busy. We had a really nice time celebrating a birthday.

   I had a reservation and waited about 5 minutes to get sat which was fine but when seated I asked to be seated by the window since it was my mother in laws first time at oc mining co. So we had to wait an additional 10 minutes although the table was ready for us to be seated. We went to celebrate my mother in always birthday and I had stated that on the reservation. I noticed other people had a birthday cake to celebrate and we did not even though I had added that on the notes for the reservation. It took a while to receive our drinks although we placed the order before the table that got there after us… other than that it was an ok experience.

    Great service. Expecting so much more for the price of the Sunday Brunch. The food was worse than mediocre, the entrees were often empty, rhe salmon was godawful, the desserts were pretty but absolutely tasteless - and they had donuts as dessert. What the heck? And the donuts weren't fresh and weren't good. At almost $50 per person plus $9 fee for parking, this was our first visit and our last visit. Sadly, the service was outstanding.
