Palace Kitchen offers an open kitchen concept to allow guests to watch the chefs at work. Settle in for dinner at one of the booths or our horseshoe shaped bar with low, intimate lighting and enjoy fresh, seasonal food that is served late into the night. Diners at Palace Kitchen love the whole trout, rotisserie chicken and burger royale that are grilled over the apple wood grill in house.
Palace Kitchen offers late night dining with a full menu until 12:00am and bar until 1:00am.
Our King Boletus Parlor and Chanterelle Rooms offer private dining for groups of up to either 16 guests or up to 20 guests.

Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Ron Anderson

From the OpenTable editors: Come to Palace Kitchen for wood-fired Pacific Northwest dishes starring fresh ingredients from owner and James Beard Award-winning chef Tom Douglas’s farm. Start with the goat cheese lavender fondue before moving on to hits like chicken wings and a whole Idaho rainbow trout. Add in creative cocktails and a warm space with a massive Rococo-style bacchanal painting, and it’s easy to see why the restaurant is a Seattle late-night industry darling.

Waitress was lovely but food was not great. Ordered the brussel sprouts and squash fritters and both were just okay. Disappointing. Husband’s old fashioned had crushed ice which was weird. Disappointing. After the starters we decided to cut our losses and go somewhere else.

We hadn't been to the Palace Kitchen for years and were so happy to return! The restaurant was warm and lively. The "ye olde inn" ambiance never disappoints. The drinks were interesting - food was perfect, and our server was charming and on-the-spot. The place was full - loud but not deafening. It was the perfect choice for a cold winter evening. We'll be back.

A great simple meal at the palace. I started with the brussels which were fab with a great citrus note. Then the burger, with bacon of course - perfectly cooked, juicy, with great flavor on a nice brioche bun, the shoestring fries were hot, crispy and salty -yum! Service was spot on and well paced. A really nice early dinner

A lovely place: one I’ve wanted to try for decades, and unfortunately one I will probably not be going back to because of the noise level (which is not out of the ordinary for many trendy restaurants, but is loud enough that the waitress at times couldn’t hear up, and I had to wear earplugs to prevent a migraine).

Maybe the perfect restaurant, IMHO. Casual with a bit of elegance, low light cool but not trying to be hip, and always the best service. The food menu is long enough to have something for everyone, and the drink menu is pleasantly exhaustive. I would eat here at least once a week if I could. And yes get the burger, but split it with your date/pal/friend so they can share in the magic.
