Summary: Service was bad, especially not family/kids-friendly. Don't pick a date when owner's friends are also coming for a dinner (although you don't know when it would be) Came on a Sat night with 4 adults and a 1-year old. They don't have a high chair but a child seat without strap so the baby was just sitting between his parents. Then we kindly asked the waitress to microwave the baby food for us for 1 min. And the waitress gave us a really bad face. Then she immediately started packing all of our wine glasses; probably thinking we will not order drinks anymore with a kid. My husband was just telling the baby's parents that this restaurant's wine price is reasonable and we should order some. It was really awkward. I reminded the waitress no need to pack our glasses now since we're still looking at the drink menu. She gave us a bad face and saying no rushing with a sarcastic voice. And she still took away all of our wine glasses. Then the owners' friends big group arrived with 8 adults and 4 kids and 1 baby. Their kid shattered the glasses(made a big sound), and the female guest just "ordered" another waitress by her name to clean it up. They didn't get a bad face and a blame and bad attitude for brining so many kids and causing a trouble. We arrived and completed our orders like 20-25 minutes before the owner's friend's big group, but they got their 8 entrees 15 mins before ours. Basically our foods came really slow after they prioritized serving the big 10 ppl group who ordered and arrived 20 mins after us. Of course, because they are owners' friends. The foods were good. Despite we brought a small serving of baby foods, we ordered 2 glass of wines, 4 appetizers, 1 salad, and 4 entrees. If we didn't wait for our entrees for that long that the baby was tired, we would've ordered 2 desserts. We spent around $305. The service was really bad, especially the waitress. My husband and my in-law are usually nice nice guy; but they brought it out and mentioned w

The food was wonderful as usual, the staff was extremely attentive, and the wine was very good. The staff recommended a wine that was very reasonable compared to the other options. We brought out of town friends and they were very pleased.

Lovely, comfortable ambiance. The service/wait staff are stellar, very personable and attentive without that annoying “hoovering” gene‼️ And… the food is spectacular! We can hardly wait to return‼️🎉

I have dined at Passionfish 4 times in the past few years and always loved it. This visit was a big disappointment. Our waitress was wonderful so this review does not reflect on her great service. My appetizer was fried squid and that was very fresh and tasty, as was the buttermilk biscuit. It went downhill from there. My main issue was none of our entrees came out hot - just room temperature. I suspect the entrees were sitting in the kitchen as we had to wait at least 25 mins between courses. The front dining room was about a third full, so it was not busy. I got the sea scallops and they were nice but bland, and everything on the plate was lukewarm. We also ordered two duck confits and we did not like that the duck was seasoned with all spice. We found the all spice to be overpowering and prefer our duck confit just plainly roasted. We ordered three deserts. My banana bread pudding was barely warmed, but it tasted nice. The mint mud pie was nice too. Wish entrees came faster and were actually hot. The kitchen staff were to blame and not the waitress.

Service: Our server was nice and attentive, but forgot a component of a starter which ended up coming out after I was done with the starter. And a runner put his finger in our water glass. Food: The food was good, but most dishes were only warm, not hot. Even our tea with desert wasn’t hot. This was probably the most disappointing aspect of the meal. For mains, the spooned lamb was quite good, but the duck confit wasn’t delicious. Overall: I expected more for a $200 meal (no alcohol). It was a fine experience, but I wouldn’t go back.
