The Pepper Tree restaurant has been a tradition for fine dining in Colorado Springs since 1983. Serving steaks, seafood, lamb, veal and more, the Pepper Tree is legendary for impeccable cuisine, ambiance, service and breathtaking views of the city. The Pepper Tree's signature Mango Chutney Pepper Steak and other specialties, including Chateaubriand and Steak Diane, are prepared or finished table side.

    Please know that we appreciated the quietness of the dining room. And this was the BEST meal we have every had: Lobster appetizer, Caesar salad, halibut with exquisite sauce. LOVELY

    The meal was outstanding! We have been fortunate to dine at many fine restaurants this year, including Hell’s Kitchen and Nobu. This meal exceeded our expectations. Our rating of service as a four was generous. For the following reasons. Beef Wellington sold out at 6:45? A 10 Minute wait to be greeted and acknowledged. Excuses instead of thankfulness when we expressed disappointment. Bottom line, it was the best tasting meal of the year. We will return.

    The table side Pepper Steak was amazing. Decor is a bit outdated. View is nice but not over the top. Our table cloth was damp which was odd but after awhile it dried. You will come home smelling like the grill that they use to cook the steak. It's a unique place and we'd go back for a special occasion.

    Absolutely loved the food and the service we went for our 7 year anniversary and it did not disappoint, I do want to say the restaurant was pretty busy so it was kinda loud but overall recommended

    Everytime feels like my first time. Peppertree has an exceptional staff, that does an amazing job waiting and serving. From the time you come in until the time you sit down, they will make sure your needs are met. Our out of town guest, loved his meal and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Peppertree for such a great night!

    I've been to the pepper tree 2 times prior to my last visit. I was somewhat disappointed this last time.I had the steak Diane the first two times but decided to have the steak and lobster this time around. My lobster was very mushy and discolored which I knew was not normal for it should be white and firm. I'm not one to complain so I did not. I ate it anyway and 3 hours later I was experiencing extreme stomach discomfort. I had out of state company and was a little embarrassed because I had raved about how great this place was. I'm not sure if I will return.
