                                                                    Overly crowded and slow service… we had a reservation and it was standing room only. Wish they communicated this before cause they had such strict rules about being on time and dress code but waited forever and drinks were rushed.

                                                                    I had reservations for over a month, with the request of getting a table with scenic view. When shown my table, it was against the outdoor walls, tucked into the corner & our view was a see through plastic covering instead of open views of the city. I asked to be relocated to another table with a more scenic view. Staff accommodated me after a 15 minute wait, which was fine! In total, i was hoping they’d listen to my reservation request from a month prior & have the table i requested for to be available.

                                                                    This was without doubt the worst dining experience from start to finish I have ever had in Los Angeles. We came back to Perch after having a nice experience a few years ago and were gravely disappointed with the food and the service. For starters, no one came to our table for a good 15 minutes to acknowledge we had sat down. The service was basically non existent the rest of the meal. The food was horrendous. I ordered a Cesar salad that was basically soup. So drenched with dressing you might as well have eaten it with a spoon. The three of us ordered steaks and they were all smothered in sauce to the point that none of us could finish our meals. The “fries” that came with the steak frites were also a soup of a strange mayonnaise sauce, which in itself wasn’t horrible had there not been a litre of it covering every fry. We basically all left with full plates and the server didn’t even ask any questions. You would think a server would ask what happened. The only question she had when we asked for the bill was, “no dessert?”. No. Definitely not.

                                                                    This is a very beautiful fun spot sadly with awful and expensive food and drinks. Service was fine not great. I’d say go for a drink but even the drinks were awful. Skip it
