Sad to learn you are getting a liquor license. We always saved the best wines from our wine cellar to bring to PSI to go with the outstanding meals that you serve.

I heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so maybe my expectations were too high. Let me first say that the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very professional and attentive. The food was very disappointing. My starter of burrata and butternut squash agridolce was exquisite. The salmon entree with lobster ravioli not so much! Salmon was so overcooked I had trouble cutting it with a knife and the lobster ravioli were doughy and heavy. The staff comped a dessert of apple crisp which was more syrup than apples or topping and the apples were hard and undercooked. I will give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and try again since we did go on a Monday night. Perhaps the regular chef was off that night? Whatever the reason, I expected more. This is an expensive restaurant and the food was not up to par.

Been here many times in the past. I was very disappointed when 2 of the main items on the menu that I wanted to order were sold out on an early Sat night reservation. The menu is already limited to begin with. Not sure if I would come back.

We had a beautiful Christmas celebration for 8 (my mother’s 85th birthday. Couldn’t have been better. The restaurant was decorated beautifully, lovely piano music on the background and service which was exceptional. Everyone loved their dinners socially the lobster thermodor and bolognese. We will go back!

Dined at Peter Shields for the first time and everything from service to food was as good as or better than the best. Everything from waiting in the lounge enjoying free cheese, crostini, crudités and white or red wine to the final cappuccino and dessert was expertly crafted. Thank you for a great experience.

PSI is always a wonderful place for e a fantastic meal in Cape May. Everything was delicious. Our server, Chris, has been there for 25 years and we've had him serve us before. He is a true delight and a fantastic person. As someone with severe food allergies, he worked with the chef to make the necessary changes and everything was perfect.

Christopher is as ALWAYS the best ! I come to cape may in 3-5 times per year from almost 2 hrs away , for the past 15 years, just to have the best dinner at Peter Shields and always request Chris.
