Best Cozy Restaurants in Jacksonville

We had a brand new waiter who was so personable and tried so hard to please us. He was refreshing and very accommodating. He was fun. The service was quick, we received our drinks within 10 minutes of ordering and were delicious. Our food order was taken and arrived timely and was delicious. My friends had the filet and I had the lamb. All were cooked to perfection. The green beans were not good, however, and were almost raw. My rice and salad were great. The kitchen needs to learn how to prepare green beans but other than that, the food was top notch. We also enjoyed one of their cute little desserts. I had the s’mores cup which was delicious. We definitely will return.

Picked up family from Airport and they wanted sushi so we Visited Oku and it was absolutely amazing we will be back soon.

Food was great and excellent service. Multiple people checking on us throughout the night with a packed restaurant. Water glass was never empty and never waited too long for food. Server always had a smile on his face along with everyone else who came by. Most tender octopus I have ever had and the Lamb chops were delicious. Even my son wiped his shirt rib plate clean. Was celebrating my wife’s birthday and they even brought her a complimentary crème brûlée unexpectedly. Will definitely come back. Love finding new places that impress. My only knock is that it was a little noisy and hard to hear each other at a normal talking volume. But wouldn’t let that stop me from coming back.

Service was outstanding. Prices were moderate. Food was quite good. There were 6 (women aged 43-73) of us meeting for lunch. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting. Not a brightly lit modern decor which I think gives an intimate feeling. It was still bright enough to see the menus. It felt like walking into a larger French bistro. We were able to hear each other very easily. Our server was attentive but not obtrusive. The menu was quite ample. Everyone enjoyed their food. I will go back for sure
