Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it.     Isabella and Faith were some of the most attentive, professional, and friendly people we have ever come across during a dining experience. The ambiance was comforting and welcoming, while not being too "stuffy". The food was out. Of. This. World. I would have paid twice the price without question. Even if you're not in town, schedule a trip just to come here. Can’t wait to come back!

    Had a great time on valentines with the Mrs… the server was cool, down to earth, and courteous! The place was packed (Valentine’s Day) and service was still great. Food was delicious, and the seared ahi tuna was so good we ordered a second round for after dinner! Awesome time!

    The restaurant was perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The ambience was romantic, the menu had a very nice variety for the select Valentine’s Day three course meal, and the signature drinks were delicious. One of the best espresso martinis we’ve ever had at a restaurant. My girlfriend was given a rose with the bill, which was a great final touch. Highly recommend!

    It was my first time at Eddie V's. As this was, suggested by a friend. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. The waiter was attentive and took his time explaining the menu. Had the crab cake as an appetizer and the wagyu steak, as my entree. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Dessert was complimentary. Ambiance was perfect and staff was extremely nice. Overall, a great experience and a great time. Definitely, would go back.
