- OTOpenTable DinerSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy only complaint is that we were celebrating two birthdays and I had a conversation with the manager prior to being sitted and he stated he would alert our waiter and unfortunately nothing was brought up or done for these special milestonesMore infoBataPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown Tucson•4.7
- EEmilyvipPhoenix / Arizona •179 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy husband and I had a lovely dinner! Right as we were ordering, our server let us know they were shorthanded and that was slowing things down. She offered to buy us a dessert- which was very kind! Drinks were yummy (they even have Mexican Coke!) as was our food. Some of the neighboring tables were a bit loud- but not so bad as to really disrupt the meal (and certainly not in the restaurant’s control). The only real drawback is the restroom - which is outside the restaurant and up a flight of stairs (and requires a passcode). Otherwise - a great meal!More infoMaynardsPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown Tucson•4.6
- MMarshallPhoenix / Arizona •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe recently moved to Tucson (like a week ago) and rather than try to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving, we opted for making reservations. The reviews for Sullivan’s were good, so we made a reservation for late afternoon (3:30 pm). We had a cocktail in the bar before dinner (very well stocked and friendly staff) and selected the Thanksgiving holiday meal. The appetizer course came quickly and after twenty minutes or so a food runner brought our dessert. The waiter, Bruce, quickly whisked them back to the kitchen. After another twenty minutes or so, after seeing tables who arrived after us being served entrees, I asked Bruce if dinner would be coming soon. He condescendingly said “we have four dining rooms full of people so the kitchen is a bit busy right now but I submitted your order as soon as the appetizers were brought out”. Luckily, he must have mentioned it to Matthew, the manager on duty that day. Matthew arrived and said there had been a computer issue and our dinners had been affected (so, it wasn’t just the busy day that had caused the delay, Bruce). Matthew made us feel welcome at Sullivan’s and saved the experience for us. For the rest of the meal, Bruce was even chillier than before. He was clearly not having a good day but Matthew was. Matthew is why I’m giving a five Star rating and while we will be back for steaks next month.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - TucsonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Tucson•4.5
