- KKeithToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFor our ninth Valentine's Day dining pleasure at the Cannery Restaurant, we were greeted with wonderful red roses and a spectacular pair for our specific table as well all arranged by my loving and might I say romantic too Wife . Sure we mulled over the entire dinner menu, trying again as we always do ... just what to have. So this time we had a Manhattan and Cosmos cocktail. I have had a Manhattan in Manhattan, but the Cannery one was even better . We decided on the one hundred dollar Valentine's Day special and we were not disappointed. All the servings were Chef quality and in particular the Mushroom Wellington was superb and it should go on the permanent menu. The Chateaubriand was out of this world with tasting pleasure .... ordered medium Rare . Of course the dessert was another winner from the kitchen , which by the way never ceases to amaze us with the quality of good food forthcoming . Our wine was Italian Pinot Grigio, and worked effortlessly with our dining . The Servers , and once again we were delighted to have Melanie at our table , along with a delightful Blonde Lady . And even though it was busy for the servers , Derek managed to wend his way over to our table .23, and greet us which just made our day more complete.
