- MmarionNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLawry’s Beverly Hills was excellent. The food quality and preparation was consistent. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, but removing the tail shell was difficult. Eating with fingers was not good, so I cut the shrimp and ate it with a fork. The lobster bisque broth was tasty but there was very little lobster. I would not order this again. My companion had the spinning bowl salad and it was well prepared. The Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful. It should be added to the regular menu. My companion had the Lawry’s cut prime rib and the medium rare portion included a bone. The sides were adequate, creamed Spinach and mash potatoes were ok. My companion had a baked potato which looked and tasted good. The table service was excellent … prompt, accurate and attentive. My water glass was refilled multiple times without needing to ask. Overall a lovely evening. I’ve eaten at Lawry’s many times and was never disappointed.More infoLawry's The Prime Rib - Beverly HillsPrice: Expensive• Prime Rib• Beverly Hills•4.7
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoShirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.6
- AAlanaMinneapolis - St. Paul •5 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 17, 2024The Green Room exceeded our expectations! We sat outside and the view was beautiful! The service was absolutely fantastic, the staff were warm and welcoming. The food, particularly the Duck Duck Duck, was out of this world. The cocktails are a show all of their own. We will definitely be back again, such a fantastic place!More infoThe Green Room at Castaway - BurbankPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Burbank•4.3
