Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Bear

Celebrated Valentine’s Day with my partner. The food and cocktails were both amazing. We started with the poached pear and goat cheese appetizer, which was very good. Only complaint maybe just a little too much balsamic.  we both ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon both of us with steak butter. I added the lump crab to mine. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the lump crab was generous. For sides we got the lyonnaise potatoes and creamed spinach. Both were delicious and generous portions which were perfect for sharing between 2 people. For dessert, we split the chocolate layer cake, which was phenomenal. Debra was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I asked her to write a message on the plate and she did and it was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this restaurant and make sure to be seated in Debra‘s section. She was beyond friendly, very knowledgeable with the menu offered recommendations and chatted with us between courses. You will not be disappointed. Food was amazing! Had a great time. Everything is mostly made from scratch so it’s very delicious!

Had an excellent valentines dinner at the house of William and merry! Our server was awesome in his recommendations and was not overbearing in checking in on us often. We tried their house Syrah wine, which was excellent, and HIGHLY recommend the duck wings as an appetizer. will be going back!

We had Madison as a server and she was amazing !!! The host who sat us was soo sweet ! 10/10 would recommend to everyone !!

This was the second time that we have eaten at the Bellefonte Cafe. They are very sensitive to food allergies and have been able to provide gluten free appetizers and main entrees. The food is excellent, some of the best that we have had in the area. The wine is good and the service is friendly. Both times that we have dined at the Bellefonte Cafe was to also enjoy live music which is just very special in such a unique location with an enjoyable ambience.
