- AAnthonyNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur dining experience at this charming restaurant was nothing short of delightful. The rich history of the establishment added a unique and inviting atmosphere, complemented by its cozy ambiance. The drink menu was exceptional, featuring standout options like the Paper Plane, which is a personal favorite and is listed as one of their signature cocktails. The Spicy Margarita was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. To start, the pear salad was a refreshing and flavorful choice, setting the tone for the meal. However, the true highlight of the evening was the pot pie. The crust was impeccably flaky and golden, while the filling was rich, savory, and utterly satisfying. The service was both friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. This restaurant is a gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal in a warm and historic setting.More infoFraunces TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.6

Asia had extensive knowledge of the many drink options which helped us decide what beer and drink options to choose from. It was an absolute pleasure visiting J&R Cigar again.More infoCasa de Montecristo - WhippanyPrice: Expensive• Pub• Whippany•4.8

I asked for bread and the dip that they give was a bowl of oil.More infoMcLoone's BoathousePrice: Moderate• American• West Orange•4.5

We absolutely loved being seated in the old train cart; it felt so romantic! We went for Valentine’s Day and had a prix fixe menu. For the appetizers, we had the The Grille’s Signature Crab Bisque and Caprese. Entrees, we had the Chateaubriand Bouquetiere and Rod’s New York Prime Sirloin Steak. For dessert, we both chose the cheesecake. We will be back!More infoRod's Steak and Seafood GrillePrice: Expensive• Steak• Morristown•4.4

In short, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, as it was light but very flavorful - not as salty as we thought we’d get from almost any Italian restaurant we ’ve been to, some of which are very good in their own right. However, this lightness in taste stood out, be it the prosciutto in the salad or the clams in pasta. We’ll come back for sure.More infoFiorinoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Summit•4.8
