Best Live Music Restaurants in Oak Park

We had a lovely experience at this charming restaurant. The service was exceptional, huge thanks to our waiter Axel, who made the evening even more memorable. We tried a Beef Wellington and a seafood strudel. Both dishes were well-prepared, though while enjoyable, they didn’t quite leave us craving a return visit. However, we were excited to learn they offer Sunday brunch and live jazz, so we’re definitely looking forward to checking that out soon! Overall would definitely come back to try other food items.

Had the chicken schnitzel, with mash potato's and spatzle. Very good. Server was wonderful, and the atmosphere transports you to Germany for sure. They had a band playing German music as well ... wonderful Valentines meal. We'll be back ... so many other treats to taste.

Maya Del Sol has absolutely become our most favorite restaurant. The food is interesting, delicious and always piping hot. The servers understand the need to be GF and know the menu well in that regard and I’m grateful that in addition to knowing the GF details alert the kitchen on my behalf. I love that there are different price points from $30 entrees to many options in the $20’s. All of the wait staff and bussers are friendly and attentive. They always check back in after the food has been served!

Absolutely wonderful. The meal was incredibly delicious as were the raspberry martinis. They really made it a special Valentines Day dinner with rose petals and little red gems on the tables. We had the mixed greens salad with champagne vinaigrette and the hangar steak. For dessert I had the crème brûlée and my companion the chocolate mousse. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this neighborhood “gem”.

It would be better to have a pepper mill and olive oil on the table; we were given a very small amount of oil on our bread plates and a shaker with ground pepper. Our entrees were served before we finished our salads; there wasn't room for all the plates (+ bread basket, wine & water glasses, and bowl for clam shells) on a table for two. The food was good, but the chicken limone flavor was only in the sauce, not in the chicken.
