- AAndreaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMy sister and I had an amazing Thanksgiving experience here. We ordered the Filet and Tail and we could not have been any happier. Victor took great care of us and ensured we had all that we needed and more. He was kind, attentive, and recommended items to us to try. My steak was cooked perfectly along with my lobster tail, but the Rockefeller Oysters stole the show. The ambiance was decadent, much like the delicious sweet potato pecan pie. I enjoyed the seasonal gin and tonic, while my sister delighted over the Bourbon Smash---the bartender did not disappoint. I did not catch her name, but we chatted for a few about various gins and bourbons. Although this was a busy day for the staff, they handled it with grace and the kitchen staff--- I mean, they really showed out. Not a dirty plate to be noted, portion sizes were consistent with the price, and special care and attention to plating was noticed. I will certainly return! If you get the chance, ask for Victor. He's phenomenal!More infoJoe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.8
- CChristinaWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy husband and I decided to celebrate Thanksgiving at The Smith, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The prix fixe menu was fantastic, and our server, Jaiho, made the night truly memorable with her enthusiasm and friendliness. We started with the kale salad and butternut squash soup. The kale salad was delicious, and I would happily eat it any day. The butternut squash soup had great flavors, though it was a bit thinner than we expected. For our main courses, we opted for the turkey pot pie and short ribs. The pre fixe menu included sides for the table, which were all super tasty but very filling! We couldn't resist the apple toffee bread pudding and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. They were both so tempting that we had to have at least one bite before asking for a box to bring them home. Overall, the Thanksgiving pre fixe meal was generous and tasty. The Smith's atmosphere and Jaiho's excellent service made our holiday celebration truly special. We'll definitely return, whether for another holiday or a casual meal!More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5
- AAmandaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 25, 2024We were very pleasantly surprised with what a gem of a dining experience this was. We selected mostly on location which was very convenient to our hotel. The staff were all very attentive. We had a gluten allergy diner and they not only suggested already gluten free meals but modified a meal (mussels) to be gluten free. They even carry GF bread. All of our meals were quite good from the grilled octopus starter to the Vanilla Napoleon dessert.More infoCafe Du ParcPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Downtown•4.5
