- NNancyVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •77 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoColumbus Inn is the best choice for brunch in this area. Excellent food and service and moderate prices. The only criticism I have is that when there is a large group, and there often is, the noise level is really loud. This is Moore the fault of guests who seem to need to out show each other. But if you go at 10 AM, you can generally Have a quiet table and a very nice meal indeed.More infoColumbus InnPrice: Moderate• American• Wilmington•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad an amazing time for our first experience at The Back Burner. Diana was quick to ask if it was our first time & once we said it was she talked us around the menu. Telling us that they sell crazy amounts of the “better cheddar”, you get a great amount of flatbread which has a homemade pita chip vibe. We had the crab bisque which was so good my fiancé almost forgot to share any with me! We split the wedge salad, which was so refreshing. He got the short rib and I got the salmon Wellington. We had to get all that bagged up so we could try out some dessert. We got the raspberry crème brûlée, it was so tasty.More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.6
- DDeniseVIPPhiladelphia County •73 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Mendenhall Inn did a great job of making a Valentine's Day dinner very enjoyable. We were seated at the time of our reservation, our waitress was very attentive. Our wine and bread and butter arrived quickly, followed by our first course ( French Onion soup of broth of us) within 10 minutes. Even though the restaurant had a slightly limited holiday menu, there were plenty of good choices. We had roasted duckling and the crab stuffed shrimp. both were served with mashed potatoes and French green beans. Everything was delicious and served at a very good pace. We were surprised at how efficient the service was consider the at full capacity dining room on a holiday evening. We skipped dessert because we were so full from the generous portions ( the outstanding French Onion soup with tons of cheese is very filling). It was a delightful evening in a welcoming, comfortable high end restaurant. top notch, its is worth the drive to get to Mendenhall ! A great place for special occasion or date night dining.More infoMendenhall InnPrice: Moderate• American• Mendenhall•4.7
- DDaraVIPPhiladelphia County •148 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to White Dog Cafe Glen Mills last night for Valentine's Day dinner and to celebrate the Eagles' Superbowl win!!! We rarely go out on Valentine's Day, but since it was a special day, the three of us went. Anthony was our waiter, it was good to see him again after a while! For drinks, Dad and I had soda, and Mom had root beer. For appetizers, Mom and Dad each ordered a bowl of the Squash Bisque. Mom had hers without the roasted pumpkin seeds, and just the chili oil, while Dad had his with both. They enjoyed it, as always!! for the main course, Mom ordered the=salad special. Dad ordered his favorite, the Verlasso Salmon, which was cooked perfectly by Chef Mike! It was pecan-crusted, and was served with a maple bourbon glaze, roasted yams, apples. and Eagle Road Farm lacinato kale. He really enjoyed it, as always!!! I ordered my usual favorite, the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger without the smoked bacon mayo, bibb lettuce, and tomato, and with just the cheese and grilled red onion, served on a brioche bun, served with a side of plain fries and a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which had Pennsylvania maple dressing and bacon. They were gone in seconds!! Chef Pablo did an AMAZING job cooking my burger; he's the best! For dessert, Dad ordered one of the dessert specials, which was yellow cake with passion fruit and chocolate inside. I ordered the Chocolate Cheesecake without the spiced red wine cherries, and just the chocolate ganache and whipped cream. It was delicious, as always!!! Jaton, Oy, and Dan, the assistant managers and general manager, and Charlie, another server, all came by to our table to see how our food was! Thank you for another delicious White Dog Cafe Glen Mills! See you again soon! Happy Valentine's Day and Go EAGLES!!More infoWhite Dog Cafe Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• American• Glen Mills•4.6

Food was great. Bread was a pleasant surprise. $5 for a cup of tea seems steep. I mean, isn’t it basically hot water?More infoTerrain Cafe – Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Glen Mills•4.5
