- PPasha1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was a great place for a Valentines Day dinner. Our server was super fun and great at giving suggestions. Obviously a little pricey for some college kids but it was worth the amazing night and food ♥️🤗! Would recommend!More infoMimmo's Italian VillagePrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.4

- CChadGreater Boston •25 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSome of the best fresh made pasta we have had. Now, me and my wife grew up in the north East (MA) and had great Italian restaurants in the North End in Boston. Monello’s brought us back to that place and we love having this restaurant in San Diego. I must say, the Gnocchi was probably one of the top two that I have ever tried and we had that with the Monello sauce and then the Pecorino Romano cheese wheel special with cherry tomatoes and Linguine. It was Fantastic! Definitely made us grinning ear to ear with every bit of food that sang melodious notes of true deliciousness!More infoMonelloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.6
- KKirollosNew Orleans / Louisiana •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoPhenomenal experience. Been anticipating coming back here since our last trip to SD 2 years ago. Italian is our favorite cuisine so the bar is high. Overall some of the best we’ve had, hands down the best lasagne we’ve had and we’ve been to some of the best Italian all over the US. Great cocktails, food, and service. They delivered on all fronts.More infoBencotto Italian KitchenPrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.6
- NNorikoVIPSan Diego •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a fantastic time at Herb & Wood. Since we were both busy on Valentine’s Day, we decided to celebrate on Saturday instead. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the restaurant greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome. Our reservation was at 5 PM, so the restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet, but even as it filled up, the level of attentiveness remained exceptional. Our waiter, Troy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. For appetizers, we had the Sicilian Crudo and one of Troy’s suggestions—a warm dinner bread served with butter, honey, and herbs. I don’t remember the exact name, but it was absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my husband had the Iberico Pork, and I had the Roasted Branzino. The Branzino was packed with herbs and flavors—I usually can’t finish a large meal, but I couldn’t stop eating it. We were too full for dessert, though I wish we had saved room! It was our first time at Herb & Wood, but it’s now on our list of favorite restaurants for special occasions.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
