Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Nesconset

Went for V-Day when I walked in the place looked like an old diner but the back of the restaurant where I was seated was really nice. The food was amazing waitress was a bit slow and didn’t check on us but it was a holiday I will give grace. I would definitely go again.

Unfortunately, for Valentines Day, it wasn’t the quiet romantic atmosphere we had hoped for. There was a very loud group with a baby and small child at a corner table in our room of otherwise couples.

Overall a wonderful experience from the minute we arrived until we left. We were initially ushered to a table for 2 and my husband asked if we could have a 4-top. Within a minute we moved to a spacious table. Immediate exceptional customer service! From then it only got better. Jason, our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. Each course was delicious and this was a first: no leftovers. We literally cleaned our plates. Can’t wait to return.

When my babysitter cancelled last minute, my husband and I were worried about bringing our almost two year old to a 6 course tasting meal but we were very pleasantly surprised! The staff was so kind and helpful and we had such a wonderful time! So did our son - he had lots to look at and everyone was so friendly:). Our waitress was so sweet and the service was perfect. We did the 6 course tasting menu and it was amazing, every course was delicious. One of the best and fun meals we’ve had in a long time! Thank you, State Room!
