Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

    We had an exceptional dining experience! The food was outstanding; our server, Kevin was excellent; and the atmosphere was warm and inviting without being the least bit pretentious. We were even able to meet the chef after our meal. Such an honor! This Michelin Star rating was very well deserved.

    Our best meal so far in CDMX. The portions were generous: three of us shared two appetizers, two mains, and two desserts and we still took home “to-go.” The food was innovative and delicious! Service was highly professional and the space upstairs was lovely. A real gem.

    Wow! What an amazing meal! the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with amazing flavors.     Kitchen Table was a great experience for my birthday celebration. Loved being able to see the food prepared in front of me and have the chef explain each dish. The add-on mezcal tasting was really fun too. Despite the small portion sizes, it was VERY filling, so much so that I could barely finish the final few courses and desserts (THREE total! 2 as part of the tasting and one surprise birthday dessert). Worth every penny and every bite.
