Best Authentic Restaurants in Mill Valley

The staff went above and beyond when the reservation was in error for four but really was for six. I goofed the reservation and the host staff saved my bacon

Monday night was the time to experience the great service, food, and ambience at the D'Angelo Pizza. Both the bar and table service were excellent. The seafood was perfectly seasoned and the pizza Something to write home about.

Met my friend for lunch. It wasn't too busy being a Monday and we had a lovely table in the corner overlooking the water. I had the lunch combo with a delicious cup of clam chowder and a wonderful salad of lettuce, cheese, nuts and cranberries. My pal had a crab louie. The food was delicious and our waiter was great. We were catching up and we were not rushed at all. That and the parking - this place is a gem. Will be back soon.

I usually don’t review restaurants, however I feel the need to do so about Piatti. My Mom and I now dine regularly every Thursday night. We eat out a lot and have many choices. The reason we have made Piatti our special place is for several reasons. 1). Greeted by lovely hosts 2) Service is exemplary. Very well paced as we like to enjoy our cocktails before ordering. Our usual server is Luis, who goes above and beyond. However, if it’s not Luis, Vicky and the other staff are fantastic. 3) Great menu. We always find something we love and food is prepared as ordered. 4) Wonderful ambiance. We thought we’d only enjoy the beautiful water views during summer, but agreed tonight it was quite cozy for fall and winter. All in all, Piatti continues to check all the boxes for a weekly special night with my 96 year old mother. We look forward to coming back again next week!

Quality Italian food - good variety so you don’t always choose the same thing. Great service. Pleasant room with warm atmosphere. I always enjoy my meals here and look forward to dining here.
