Best Authentic Restaurants in Molino del Rey

Great food. Our reservation was for 2:45 pm, we got there 2:49 pm and even with several tables available and people arriving for lunch without any reservation, we were “greeted” with a “there’s no tolerance for delays in reservations today”. You are 5 min late. What for?? Why are you telling me that if you have availability? However, after getting to our table, the experience was great.

Mariana was our sommelier today and we were so very, very happy with her expertise and keeping the experience fun and insightful to all the complexities and depth of the delicious mezcal y mole samplings. We had such a great experience eating at Marcello! The bread service is INCREDIBLE! I could have made a meal out of that alone. The service was impeccable, they even took our lack of Spanish in stride and we're super patient. The portion sizes were amazing. We highly suggest the chicken parmigiana - enough food for several meals. The truffle pasta was incredible too. We couldn't stop eating it. The pizza was real delicious as well! I feel like you can't go wrong here. Only world of advice, don't sit on the sidewalk/patio section if you don't want to be approached by passerby's trying to sell you something or collect donations.
