If you are seeking not just a great meal, but a great dining experience, you need look no further than Luca’s Ristorante Somerset. Tucked away on Rt. 27 between Princeton and New Brunswick, Luca’s Somerset is an oasis of authentic regional Italian cuisine. Offering modern adaptations of traditional dishes from Ischia, here you can enjoy hand-cut ravioli stuffed with Chef Andrea’s latest mouth-watering combinations, a selection of fish entrees so fresh that they evoke the Mediterranean Sea, or a filet of such quality that it is paralleled only by the accoutrement that accompany it. We want Sophie's to be a place where one could have a good, hearty meal (comfort food), simple and unpretentious, at a fair price. Our goal is to produce an atmosphere where people can come for lunch, a full dinner, a late snack, a glass of wine or a big cup of coffee and feel comfortable and at home. Our menu is diverse enough for everyone, yet simple enough so the average person will not get overwhelmed with numerous menu choices and complications. Our basic premise is to provide quality food and good service at a fair price in an unpretentious atmosphere. The décor is modeled after classic French Bistros. French country antiques, large open shuttered windows, dark woods, soft pastel colors and walls covered with family pictures make Sophie's an intimate cozy environment

Our food choices were off that menu. and this was about the 5th year we have celebrated there . We were disappointed there was a $15 up charge for the steak, but still felt it was great price for the dinners .

We have been going to Sophie's Bistro in Somerset, NJ since 2002 when it opened. In all that time, the superb quality of the food has been totally consistent, a remarkable achievement. The menu offers a rich assortment of traditional French dishes, each one truly excellent. The setting inside is lovely, too, and the service and staff could not be better.

this is my second time dining at Labebe Prime since the rebranding and i’m even more blown away than the first time. This will definitely be our new celebration spot. first of all, i should mention that the dining room is completely redesigned and it is stunnning. the ambiance is intimate yet lively, and the vibes are impeccable. you truly feel like you’re dining out in the city even though you’re close to home. next up, the food. THE FOOD. it’s so good that it hurts. my wife and i ordered oysters, sushi hand rolls and the Spanish octopus to start. the oysters were truly the freshest i’ve ever had and i’ve eaten a lot of oysters, all over the world. the hand rolls satisfy any sushi craving and the octopus was flavorful and tender. the capers and olives add the perfect salty touch! 10/10 would order them all again! for our main courses, i got the stuffed Branzino and my wife got the cowboy steak. the Branzino was out of the world! flaky and well seasoned, with the crab meat stuffing stealing the show. the steak was cooked to perfection!! we will never order steak from anywhere else again. the quality of everything we ate, especially the steak, was top notch. it’s also worth mentioning the portions are huge! on to dessert.what can i say except everything was better than the last. we ordered the tiramisu and to our surprise the waiters came out with a full spread of tiramisu, the viral Dubai chocolate, gelato and seven layer cookies. Tony, the chef and owner, came over to let us know it was his treat to celebrate the occasion and honestly, i’d come here just for dessert. everything’s made in house which isn’t shocking considering how fresh it all was. the Dubai chocolate is so worth the hype and the gelato was so creamy and perfect. the tiramisu was light and fluffy and the cookies tasted just like the OG ones from brooklyn. Tony and his staff are true professionals and experts at their craft!
