Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Roncesvalles

We love going to Molkagtez for family and friends dinners, the food is very good, and the place is great for groups. The menu has a large variety of options and we love the vegetarian ones. The drinks are also great, especially margaritas, they just changed their glasses and look way better now. About the service, it has been a bittersweet experience, Sometimes it is great, but not always, some sometimes we had bad experiences with the service, being unorganized and lacking engagement. On this last visit was better than our previous one, however, you can tell it still needs improvement. I’m saying this because I have great hopes for this restaurant can be one of the top best in the city.

The dinner was excellent. The proportions were perfect and well paced. Everything was delicious. The wine was excellent, as always. thank you Jing for not only describing the wine but giving us the histories of producers. Thank you to the team that took care of us. Prime is the best restaurant in Toronto!

I like the service as the server was so nice and polite and the food was amazing. I recommend other people’s to visit the restaurant and ambience was top notch according to my expectations.

We decided to use Winterlicious to try out Aera. First of all the view is amongst the best in North America , overlooking the city with the CN tower and lakes in full view. Truly breathtaking. Our server was highly attentive. We both started with the Beet and Goats Cheese salad which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. My wife had the Salmon Pone Bowl with Edamame, Avocado, Quinoa flavoured with ginger and a delicious sauce. I had the Pork Loin Schnitzel with some of the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. The star of the meal however was the Sticky Toffee Pudding which came with praline encrusted ice cream, it scored 20 out of 10. From this first experience we have decided to celebrate our anniversary this year with dinner and some nice wine at Aera and to enjoy the full menu experience. I have had the luck through my career to have eaten at many of the worlds finest restaurants, I do not exaggerate when I say I would place Aera in my top 10 for ambience and quality. Went for my birthday and the space has definitely got a renovation since my last visit in 2021. The food was equally as delicious, service had changed a bit (I do miss the old cutlery) but I understand with the demand and expansion since the WELL deserved Micheline recognition. The food was FABULOUS the octopus was a stand out texture perfectly cook the sala Verda had heat, zest, and herbaceous however, the star were the beans! DESSERT was my favourite course strawberries are my favourite fruits so confidently the gelato was right up my alley. I knew it was incredibly well done when my brother who notoriously dislikes strawberry “ice cream” of any sorts kept matching my spoon for spoon (will be back for the Torta). My only wish was to maybe talk about more with the Som and the employees. I know it’s hard to sometimes be able too in service and some guest just rather not be spoken to during their stay. I kept looking for an opening with everyone who touched our table didn’t work out. CJ was a wonderful server, paced our dishes and drinks, took care of my family wonderfully. Also loved that the table was communicated that it was “ours” until a specific time. It was a wonderfully birthday, thank you.
