- LLisavipDallas - Fort Worth •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my second visit to Shinsei and I think it was better than the first visit! Our waitress was amazing!! It seemed she had been there a while and knew everything!! I loved her! We started with the pork dumplings and Hamachi and Pear appetizer along with Katina’s Sticky Rice…I think the sticky rice was my favorite with Hamachi coming in a close second!! We also tried the Coconut Chicken Jalapeño Poppers. For dinner I had the miso plat cod and my husband had the baby back ribs, absolutely everything was delicious. My Seabass was cooked to perfection and of course for dessert I had cotton candy. I mean is there a better dessert? LOLMore infoShinsei RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Park Cities•4.9

- SShelettevipEast Texas •25 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe visited to celebrate the man’s birthday. We arrived early since we planned to visit a couple of other places afterward. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The space is really spacious. We dined in the main dining room, and the service was excellent. The host, servers, and manager were all very friendly. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu pigs in a blanket and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I had a shot of tequila, while the man enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an IPA. The appetizers were delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the honey mustard crème sauce that came with the pigs in a blanket, but I definitely enjoyed them without the sauce. For our main dishes, we had the roasted salmon and steak frites. The salmon had a perfectly crispy top layer and was cooked to a perfect medium. It was delicious! It came with butternut squash farro, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about, but it was interesting. The steak frites were flavorful and also cooked to a perfect medium. Very tasty. Unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert. We spent about $190, including the tip. After we paid, we went to check out the rooftop. It was stunning—spacious, with tables and seating perfectly arranged to showcase the beautiful city skyline and lights. We grabbed two more drinks at the bar and soaked in the view, spending another $35 with tip. We would definitely return and plan to opt for rooftop dining next time. Highly recommend!More infoCulinary Dropout – DallasPrice: Moderate• American• Design District•4.5
