Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. A beautiful outdoor patio is most enjoyable on warm summer days and nights as it open to the sky.     We had a great dinner experiences here at Evvia. All of the dishes were delicious, but lamb chops was our favourite, juicy as it can get and beautifully tender as medium. Our server, Francesco was welcoming and attentive which made our experience very memorable.

    This is my go-to restaurant and today was a perfect example of why! Gorgeous sunshine at the windows. Excellent food and superlative service. My best friend, visiting from Florida, has sodium restrictions and the kitchen provided her food she was interested in eating, with accommodations that allowed her to eat them. The team, including Rickey, Adrian and Violet, were their usual welcoming and helpful selves, and our waiter, Francisco, provided superlative and generous service. He is a gem of a person and server, someone whose dedication, knowledge, and warm enthusiasm, make dining out a truly enjoyable and memorable experience! Three cheers for Osteria and the team!
