Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Kihei

We had their maitais and each had a beer. Maitais were about a 7. Beer was great. I had the kale salad, delicious! Hubby had burger he said was good as well. We sat out on the lanai not too windy.

Scallop risotto was amazing! There was a beautiful view of the ocean. Very calm and relaxing environment.

If you are coming for the food, come on in! The lasagne and the short ribs with polenta were outstanding… flavorful, rightly seasoned, and served hot. The service was adequate… but a full bar and you could not get a cocktail. No bartender??? We have dined here three times in the last year…only because of the tasty food offerings!

We have eaten at Ka’Ana Kitchen many times over the years, but this was our first experience doing the Chef’s Table. The two of us had a seat right at the end of the main counter where we had clear views of the Grill Chef, who blew us away with his organization & preparations, & we had a birds-eye view of the finishing counter where we sat overlooking every dish that came out of the various stations - plus, we caught a head-on sunset. The entire staff catered to us & many in the Chef’s circle engaged with us - it was super fun! AND the FOOD was GREAT!!
