Best Vegan Restaurants in Martinez

We almost always eat in Oakland, Berkeley and SF because it's hard to find good food and flavors through the tunnel. Hideout nails it. The lamb shank, the fried chicken, the squash all as good as you get in the City. Delicious. Could still use some work on their craft cocktails, but the food was excellent.

We had a big group lunch there. Pretty good! We enjoyed it.

We love the food and enjoyed great meals today at lunch. I got there early so I could ask the hostess to please note my grand daughter was home from college and it is her birthday. She said she would inform our server….. I knew my grand daughter would choose a chocolate dessert, which she did + her Mum and I also enjoyed our desserts. GREAT disappointment when 3 desserts arrived NO candle !!!!! Of course I didn’t make a fuss , however I wanted to !! The special moment was over and I left your restaurant feeling let down. We all love coming to True Food Kitchen in Walnut Crerk CA because we love the food and I knew when I told our grand daughter that’s where we would be having lunch….. she was, as expected …. excited. Please get through to your hostesses that some requests mean a great deal and they need to follow through !!! Antoinette ☹️

Greens never fails to impress. The food is spectacular and each dish is different and delicious. We were a party of four and ordered everything to share, which was absolutely the way to go. The service was also phenomenal. I have celiac and we had another allergy in our group as well and the kitchen caught a potential concern and circled back with us so we could change our order. I can’t eat everywhere, so it’s such a treat to visit a restaurant where I can relax and safely enjoy the experience. Greens is a San Francisco institution at this point, but it has done an amazing job throughout the years of evolving and staying fresh and current. Always a treat to eat here!

We'd been wanting to return to for some time. One word: FANTASTIC! Millennium is a VERY hot spot and it can be challenging to get a reservation on a day and time that suits you if you don't plan far enough ahead of time. PLAN EARLY if you can. I had a day/time in mind but had to adjust a bit, but got a spot at a "High Top" (tall table with chairs). When we arrived, the Maître d' showed us where we were "scheduled" to sit. It was close to the front door on a breezy winter night. IF we were at the other end of this longish table, it might have been okay (not perfect). We asked the Maître d' IF there were any options. He reviewed the options and said he could place us in the patio or at the bar. We went to the patio, which is more or less sheltered, but not fully enclosed. There was ample heating (as far as I was concerned) but it didn't suit my wife. We went back to the Maître d' station and he reviewed the situation anew. A colleague reviewed options with him, and Voila.....we were fortunate to get a very nice table for two! Thank you Millennium and staff for taking the time to accommodate us!
