Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Continuing past the pawnshop, guests encounter a grand, circular staircase wrapped around a two-story custom chandelier, but only the adventurous will discover all that Beauty & Essex has to offer. This one lives up to the hype! Every dish we had was memorable and something we’d come back for! Grilled cheese dumplings, kale & apple salad, miso eggplant, truffle mac & cheese and beef Wellington all highly recommended… the steak was super tender and tasty (we were skeptical). Oh and the espresso martini! You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect kind of fine dining experience - upscale, not uptight, incredible food, and really impeccable service. It is going to be hard to eat anywhere else for the next several months. We went to celebrate a birthday and engagement anniversary, and they made it very special and very aware that they knew and cared about it !

Nobu never disappoints. The creativity , quality are still Michelin quality. We did the tasting menu which I highly recommend. From the Toro tuna with caviar to the wygu beef in and amazing sauce each course was better than the next. Still my favorite for so many years!!
