- CChristineSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was perfect. The service was impeccable and the food was awe-inspiring. The grilled honey nut squash was excellent as was the focaccia and ricotta. The ricotta filled pasta was amazing!! We had the contamar fish and the walleye and we were blown away. I love that the chef uses local fish instead of flying in some Chilean Seabass or something. It was all so delicious. I can’t wait to go back. After living in San Francisco for 18 years, I moved to Milwaukee recently. I was a little worried about the culinary scene, but Birch is absolutely at the top of the restaurant game in every way. They would fit right in and even stand out in SF or Napa.More infoBirch - MilwaukeePrice: Very Expensive• American• Milwaukee•4.9

- MPMrPantsWisconsin •7 reviews4.0Dined on Jul 12, 2019Food was good to very good, except the three cheese truffle flatbread, which was very plain, missing any truffle flavor and seemed to be topped with the cheapest grated parm. Service was ok, could be better. I don't think a single finished plate was cleared until we left the table. Service was courteous, at least. Admittedly, I was annoyed that they claimed not to take reservations, even though I had a reservation on OpenTable. It just wasn't a good look for our birthday dinner, kind of embarrassing and awkward. We enjoyed the outdoor area; firepit, giant jenga, giant Connect 4, bag toss, comfy seating, live music. Overall, good.More infoAnchorage - Holiday Inn RiverfrontPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Milwaukee•3.3
